4) Does working with repetition, multiples, etc. allows ALLOW you more access to large, contemporary museum/gallery spaces? Would you please comment on your relationship to the art establishment vis a vis your work, and how working with multiples impacts that relationship?

Using multiple forms in my work reinforces the concept by allowing for an element of chance during the installations. I can play with the balance of control and random moments. The pieces, ‘Wall Pollen’ and ‘Same but Different’ are new each time they are installed. I have found this very difficult for commercial gallery owners to try and take on, in part, because their clients have difficulty removing themselves from the unrealistic idea of permanence when they buy a work of art. And I like to push that into the now. I would love it if some one played with my work on their wall and allowed it to become a dynamic interaction between them and the objects; it would keep the work alive.
